Financing Your Business the SBA Way

The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at Cleveland State is pleased to announce the presentation of a Financing Your Business the SBA Way seminar as part of our ongoing business training. Jacqueline Merritt with the U.S. Small Business Administration will cover SBA loan options. Her presentation will cover information about which loan program meets a specific entrepreneurial need. The session begins with the 5 C’s of credit including character, cash flow, collateral, capitalization and conditions. An overview of SBA’s actual loan programs will follow. Lastly, specific information will be shared about interest rates and repayment terms plus preferred, community express, and SBA express lenders. Whether you are an existing entrepreneur or have given thought to starting a business, this seminar will put you ahead of the game in understanding government-guaranteed lending.
